Message from the Director
Greetings from Virginia!
Hello from the English Language Institute at George Mason University. Since 1981 the ELI has provided excellent English language instruction in small classes with personal attention from talented, experienced instructors. Outside of the classroom, ELI students live and study in beautiful Northern Virginia, and are only 45 minutes by bus and subway from downtown Washington, D.C. ELI students tell me they like the friendly atmosphere at the ELI and the help and encouragement they get from their instructors. Most importantly, they appreciate the serious efforts of the faculty and staff to help them learn the English they need to achieve their goals. They also enjoy our beautiful campus and the many facilities that are available such as libraries, computer labs, sports facilities, and theaters. If you have questions, please contact us. We will be happy to hear from you. I look forward to meeting you here in Virginia to welcome you to a whole new world of learning and opportunity.
