Seminar in Graduate-Level Writing

The "Seminar in Graduate-Level Writing" is a free program to help graduate students understand their assignments and become better writers.  In Spring 2008, the seminar will be offered:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. on the Fairfax campus.
    • Part One (Basics of Writing) will be held January 28 to March 5
    • Part Two (Research Writing) will be held March 17 to April 23

A similar program, “Seminar in Academic and Professional Writing,” will be held on the Prince William campus, and is open to undergraduate and graduate students, staff and visiting scholars. The Spring 2008 schedule is:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. in BRH on the Prince William campus.
    • Part One will be held January 28 to March 5
    • Part Two will be held March 17 to April 23
